Chicago Friends School seeks a k-4 assistant teacher, starting immediately.?
This is a shared classroom assistant, helping out in two classrooms, a K-1 and a 2-4 mixed grade classroom. They will work with the lead teacher in each classroom, assisting with instruction, managing students at recess and lunch, and leading reading and math groups as directed. They will also have the opportunity to develop and teach one arts or movement related enrichment class for each classroom.

K-8 teaching degree/certificate or commensurate experience working with early and middle elementary students required. Passion for the lives, learning and emotions of students this age and a desire to learn and grow professionally will be keys to success.
