All Saints Episcopal School seeks an accomplished and innovative educator to serve as the Middle School History/ Social Studies teacher. The candidate should have a command of the subject matter, with the skills to teach a range of history topics and electives. Additional opportunities for involvement in the All Saints community include leading an advisory, coaching, and sponsoring an extracurricular activity.
The ideal candidate should:
Possess a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in a Social Studies field with the ability and willingness to teach Social Studies and History courses as needed
Preferred three years of teaching experience, ideally in an independent school environment
A passion for working with students, while demonstrating knowledge of best practices as an innovator
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A mastery of age-appropriate instructional strategies
Enthusiasm for working in an academic environment that ignites passions to impact our world
