Physical Education Teacher & Coach Maret School is looking for an enthusiastic leader and positive role-model to join our Athletics Department. We seek high-energy candidates who are passionate about all sports and inspire children to showcase integrity and respect while challenging themselves physically and mentally in a team environment. We welcome educators who are excited about joining a faculty committed to equity and inclusion, creating an anti-racist school, and reflecting Maret's Mission and Core Values. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of varying ability levels, strong communication skills, strong technology skills, and will embrace modeling health and& safety protocols in a school setting. Our PE teacher is responsible for creating and teaching classes on the lower and middle school levels to a diverse group of students who are eager to learn. We are looking for a strong coach who is experienced and has the capacity to lead multiple athletic teams on the upper and middle school levels. While coaching experience is welcome in all sports, we are specifically looking for experience in Women's Softball, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Basketball, Women's Volleyball, Women's Soccer, and Cross Country. A degree in Physical Education, experience working in a school or similar setting and Head Varsity Coaching experience is highly preferred. The PE Teacher and& Coach reports directly to the Athletic Director and plays an integral role in growing our athletics program and school spirit.
