We are looking for powerful Elementary Teachers who want to change our education system. We are a school fueled by the burning will to break free from the traditional school model of tests and drills. While curriculum and programs are research-driven, we are interested in teachers who are innovative, creative, imaginative, and passionate to revolutionize the educational industry. This job is not for the faint-of-heart-- our work days are long and the work is challenging. We are searching for teachers who want to remember why they became teachers in the first place: to have the freedom to innovate in Lesson Planning, the ability to create an experience outside the box and even outside the classroom, and to be inspired without the depressing limitations of school bureaucracy. This is a unique, powerful, challenging, and wonderful new experience in education.
If you're ready to break free from rows of desks, rote memorization, teaching to the test, and repetitive worksheets, come join us! If you would enjoy teaching underwater in scuba gear, hiking in the woods with our two goats for company, or traveling to many of LA's best destinations send us your cover letter and resume.
