The Providence Country Day School seeks to hire a part time Middle School substitute theater teacher who is dynamic, creative and brings a high level of enthusiasm to the classroom. Candidates should have experience working with students and theater productions. This is a temporary role to cover maternity leave and the individual will be expected to take on the position starting on April 26 through May 28, 2021.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Teach theater classes to grades six, seven and eight
Execute daily lessons and rehearsals
Oversee the production of two plays
Assess student performance, provide quarterly academic updates and grades and comments for report cards
