Community School of Naples is seeking a talented and energetic Art Teacher for Lower School, PK3 to Grade 2. Your responsibilities will include, performing as a high level teacher preparing our students for the highly competitive education they will continue to receive as they progress though our school.
This teacher will plan and implement engaging and thoughtful art lessons for early childhood and lower school students; communicate with families regarding student progress and write end-of-quarter reports; conference with parents as needed; create a supportive and caring classroom environment in which students can learn, express themselves, and interact positively with one another; thoughtfully organize student work so it can be used for display purposes and also sent home as a keepsake for families; coordinate and communicate with the current art department and department chair. A commitment to diversity of work, an understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in community life, and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom are essential. The ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process is expected.

Additional Salary Information: This position starts August 6, 2021. The appointment is a full time, instructional position that will be paid an annual salary commensurate with experience, degree attainment and other qualifications.
