Our work environment is invigorating and transformative. Our faculty, administration, and board have made a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work from all angles including curriculum, approach, recruitment, and accessibility. We believe in investing in our employees and offer a competitive salary structure, medical benefits, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401K benefits, and annual professional development.
Our school serves Early Childhood through 8th grade and includes Chinese, handwork, music, orchestra, movement, woodwork, and other practical arts. In 2018-19 we moved into our new campus — a 50,000 square foot building that includes 23 classrooms, a gym, science lab, kitchen, and a large outdoor space. Urban Prairie is committed to stewarding our land with health and gratitude, and the master plan for our indoor and outdoor space is well underway, allowing our faculty and community to dream into our new home.
