Gifft Hill School in beautiful St. John, USVI is looking for an outstanding Spanish teacher for students in grades 6-12. The ideal candidate will hold a Spanish teaching certification or be a native speaker with a teaching certification in another specialty area. Candidates must be confident with differentiation strategies; use proactive classroom management; collaborate well with colleagues, and maintain a high standard of communication with parents. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in Spanish immersion programs and/or in using TPRS or other similar systems, which emphasize speaking and listening in the target language.
Candidates must be citizens of the United States, have valid permanent residency status, or hold current visas and permits allowing them to work in the USA.
