Gifft Hill School in beautiful St. John, USVI is looking for an outstanding prekindergarten teacher who can live our mission and vision of providing a dynamic, rigorous academic program that supports students with a range of learning styles and readiness levels; within a climate that fosters a love of learning, mutual respect, and the importance of personal responsibility. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in early childhood education, experience with children ranging in age from 3-6, and expertise in managing both small group and whole class instruction using sound instructional practices and positive, proactive classroom management strategies. He/she will demonstrate the capacity to teach in an interdisciplinary manner, to collaborate effectively with aids and specialists, and to maintain a high standard of personalized communication with parents.
