National Presbyterian School, an independent, coeducational elementary (Nursery-6th Grade) school in Washington, DC, is conducting a search for a full-time Art Teacher (PK through 2nd Grade) to begin employment at the start of the 2021-2022 school year.

The Lower Division Art Teacher is responsible for creating a warm and loving class environment and for implementing an excellent art program that supports and challenges each student in a developmentally appropriate manner.

In candidates, NPS is looking for the following qualifications:

  • Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in elementary or art education, or related field
  • Several years of experience teaching in an elementary school setting
  • Experience in arts integration and design thinking is preferred
