The English and Drama Teacher will found and direct a school drama program as well as teach middle school English. The selected applicant should be passionate about cultivating student understanding, excitement, confidence and proficiency in language arts. The teacher should prepare students to have the opportunity to be successful in future middle and high school courses, and have a proven track record of building relationships, creating a positive classroom culture, and engaging students with the power of language.

All applicants must have prior experience, Current Teacher Certification, and be a flexible thinker who is willing to learn new concepts. A bachelor’s degree is required, and an advanced degree is preferred.
Previous MYP experience with the IB MYP would be an advantage but not required.
