The Lab School of Washington
The Lab School seeks a part-time/full-time High School English teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. The ideal candidate has an advanced degree and experience teaching classic and contemporary literature, reflecting a global perspective, to high school students with learning differences. The ability to effectively foster a deeper understanding and critical analysis of literature, to enhance structured and creative writing skills, and to instruct in the areas of media literacy and research are sought after attributes. The candidate must hold certification in the content area or Special Education, or be certification-eligible in the District of Columbia.
