The Diocese of Victoria in Texas was founded in 1982. It spans approximately 10,000 square miles and encompasses ten counties. The Catholic schools have had a presence in this part of South Texas for more than 150 years. There are 15 schools on thirteen campuses, serving almost 3,000 students. Two of our campuses have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools, and the most recent 2021 Elementary Teacher of the Year was selected at one of our parochial schools. Seven years is the average tenure of our principals and many of our rural communities have multiple generations of families who have attended our schools.
