The Coordinator works with the school’s 6th through 12th graders and, with the rest of the Middle and Upper School leadership team, supports a faculty and staff of 60. Reporting to the Directors of Middle and Upper School, the coordinator serves on the Student Support Team and on the Middle/Upper Leadership Team.
Specific responsibilities of the academic services coordinator include, but are not limited to:
Interpreting neuropsychological testing and student data, and leading the collaboration among teachers, parents, administrators, and outside professionals to establish learning accommodations and enhancements.
Developing detailed learning plans for students identified with giftedness and/or earning challenges.
Providing support and professional development programming for developing student-specific learning strategies and differentiation.
Coordinating when a student requires academic responsive services.
Interfacing with the college counseling department to manage College Board SSD needs.
Core responsibilities of all Wildwood School administrators include:
Actively participating in and contributing to the daily operation of the school.
Supporting the work of recruitment, retention, evaluation, and support of faculty.
Designing and implementing professional development opportunities.
Designing and implementing parent education programs; and participating in the admissions process (namely interviewing and serving on the admissions committee).

Degree(s) in literacy, education, special education, psychology, social work, counseling, or related relevant discipline.
