Good Shepherd Episcopal School is seeking an individual to join a collaborative team environment as an Associate Teacher in their Early Childhood Kindergarten division. The purpose of this position is to support classroom teachers while enriching, enhancing, and reinforcing the emerging reading, writing, and mathematical skills of students. Responsibilities are to include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Develop and implement “centers” curriculum for kindergarten students in collaboration with classroom teachers
• Prepare for and conduct small group lessons
• Work in small groups and 1:1 with students
• Collaborate with grade level teams
• Support the implementation of GSES Early Childhood curriculum – developmentally appropriate, rigorous, “whole child” approach
• Ability to embrace and implement technology in instruction
• Apply consistent classroom management strategies to support an orderly classroom
• Fulfill assigned “extra” duties which may include carpool and/or lunchroom
