| St. Columban School, a Catholic, grade school located in Loveland, Ohio, is in search of a faith-driven, collaborative and energetic Principal beginning July 1st. The Principal reports to the Pastor and is a member of the administrative team, serving as the spiritual and educational leader for our Pre-K through 8th grade programs serving 500 students. Our current Principal is retiring after 42 years as a teacher and administrator. Founded in 1926 by the Sisters of Notre Dame (Covington, KY), we have a long-standing tradition of excellence. Responsibilities include: - Religious leadership: The Principal fosters a Catholic atmosphere in the school and to its various communities.
- Instructional leadership: The Principal designs, evaluates and promotes programs of studies which emphasize academic excellence.
- Leadership of faculty, staff and students: The Principal supports, motivates and develops the faculty, staff and students.
- Communication: The Principal maintains open communication with the Pastor, faculty, school and parish staff, parents, Education Commission, parish organizations, and the local community.
- Operational leadership: The Principal participates in the oversight of the school facilities, finances and standards to ensure safety, good stewardship of resources, and excellence.
