Upper School Psychology Teacher

Teaching Responsibilities: At The Benjamin School we believe that good teachers set high standards for their students and then do everything they can to help them achieve those standards. We are looking for teachers who will help our students become self-directed, independent learners with superior academic collegiate skills. We are seeking a teacher candidate to fill an Upper School social studies teaching position in AP Psychology. The ideal candidate will be able to incorporate multiple styles of teaching and use varied approaches to introducing skills and content. This person must have a desire to work with students in a challenging, college-preparatory environment and should possess strong interpersonal and written communications skills. The Psychology teacher will teach multiple sections of AP Psychology, AP World History and a social studies elective. Qualified candidates should demonstrate a passion for the social studies in general, an intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, the ability to work within a team, skills to engage and inspire students in the pursuit of learning and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
