The Episcopal Academy is looking to hire a dynamic, friendly Executive Assistant to the Head of School. The Executive Assistant is responsible for managing all aspects of the Head of School's schedule, administrative duties related to his work, and coordinating with other constituents across campus on more complex projects. The Executive Assistant also provides support to the Assistant Head of School, Chair of the Board of Trustees, and other members of the school's leadership team as needed.
The Executive Assistant to the Head of School wears many hats, interfaces with a variety of stakeholders, and provides support in many ways. With that in mind, we believe a successful candidate will demonstrate the following in their previous work experience:
Proactive and a self starter, able to anticipate needs, challenges, and opportunities, and respond accordingly
Thrive in a fast-paced office environment, with a demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressures
Flexibility, with a strong sense of how to independently prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High level of confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion
Excellent attention to detail
Highly skilled and comfortable with G Suite and Microsoft Office; bonus for a high level of proficiency with Sheets or Excel
Friendly, affable, and a strong sense of collegiality
