Norfolk Collegiate School is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time kindergarten teaching position for the 2021-22 academic year. A bachelor’s degree in elementary education is required; K-5 teaching certification and/or a master’s degree is preferred. Ideal candidates will have teaching experience in a lower school setting, keen insight into elementary-aged children, and comprehensive knowledge of the intellectual, social, emotional and physical developmental needs of five- to six-year-olds. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in working with students from a variety of backgrounds who possess a range of abilities and learning styles. This position requires collaborative work with others; therefore, this individual must be able to work effectively with colleagues and parents.
