Princeton International School for Mathematics and Science (PRISMS) seeks to hire a passionate, creative, and compassionate teacher of English to begin mid-August 2021. The position requires teaching five sections of college preparatory English. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in English or related field (master's preferred) and at least 3-6 years of classroom teaching experience at the high school level. The ideal candidate will also have experience teaching or the ability to teach history or other humanities electives. Familiarity with independent high schools is necessary, and boarding school experience is particularly helpful. Successful candidates will have an exceptional ability to develop and maintain positive and healthy relationships with a diverse range of adolescents. Candidates should demonstrate an ongoing commitment to creating a rigorous, supportive, and inclusive educational environment mirrored in their pedagogy and instructional techniques. Faculty also provide leadership for afternoon activities that matches experience and interest.
