Denver Academy in Denver, Colorado seeks a High School Social Studies Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Type: High School Teacher - Full-Time – Faculty Category: High School Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Salary: Starting salary for first year faculty without teaching experience is $50,000. Salary will be higher for teachers with experience and/or additional qualifications. Benefits: You may enroll in Denver Academy’s benefit program if you are classified as a full-time employee and have completed the eligibility waiting period of 30 days. Coverage will begin the first of the month following 30 days of employment. The benefits package includes: medical/dental/vision insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, short/long term disability insurance, life insurance, holiday/vacation pay, and sick leave. Accountability: Reports to Head of High School Division Position Description: The Denver Academy teacher is responsible for executing Denver Academy’s mission of inspiring and empowering diverse learners through student-centered, differentiated, and transformative education. This includes oversight and responsibility for students, program and day-to-day operations in the classroom.
