Overview of the Position Reporting to the Lower School Director, the school seeks an experienced, vibrant outdoor educator who brings a strong background in science, gardening and place-based learning to their teaching practice, both on-site and remote. Class size is between 16-18 students. An outdoor classroom and yurt are available as the primary classrooms. The hiring process will include a screening interview and school tour. Finalists will submit samples of lesson plans, student assessments, and parent communication; lead a demonstration lesson for students; and participate in a second interview with the full interview committee.
