`Iolani School is seeking a full-time Science teacher to teach 8th grade science and biology starting in the 2021-22 academic year. 

In addition to being active participants in our vibrant learning community, we are looking for educators who will inspire and support our students. The ideal candidate is dynamic, a strong communicator (both written and oral) and committed to professional growth in their discipline and teaching practice. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience teaching Upper School physical and/or life sciences. An advanced degree in science is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable designing and executing curriculum as part of a teaching team and embrace the use of instructional technology. 

'Iolani School has many extracurricular opportunities available for those looking to extend their work beyond the classroom, including, but not limited to: participation in our residential life program, coaching athletic and/or academic student teams, and serving as an adviser in our advisory program.
