Committed to a Quaker education, Friends Seminary generates spirit-filled, motivated students across all divisions. Friends Seminary students are a diverse, service-oriented group that pursues character development as much as intellectual achievement. Looking towards the future, the School’s current Strategic Plan focuses on strengthening the educational program, teaching practice, and student experience.
Kindergarten - Grade 12, Friends enrolls nearly 800 students, 270 of which are in the Lower School. A K-4 division, the Lower School embraces interdisciplinary study, hands-on learning, maker-mindsets, and a focus on childhood. The Quaker tenets focus our work and support a reflective process: simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and service.
