The Rescue Union School District (RUSD) Board of Trustees is hiring a Superintendent. The Board is seeking a collaborative leader who can build on the district’s strengths and vision for the future. Purpose Statement: The Superintendent serves as executive officer of the Board of Trustees; assists in the development of educational philosophy and determination of District policies; provides overall educational leadership for the District in assessing needs, developing goals and objectives, setting priorities, securing and deploying resources, and evaluating programs; promotes and encourages maximum educational opportunities for District students.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Valid California administrative credential.
- Administrative and site management experience required.
- Master’s degree desirable.
Additional Salary Information: The salary will be competitive and comparable based on districts of similar size and scope with a multiyear contract.
