Middle School Science Trinity Episcopal School is a thriving, independent Early Childhood through Grade Eight Episcopal School of approximately 450 students centrally located in culturally-rich New Orleans, LA. We are seeking a full-time science teacher for grades 5 and 6 for the 2021-2022 school year. The curriculum includes physical science, environmental science, and human anatomy. The ideal candidate for this position is one who has strong expertise with nationally accepted best practices for STEM and science learning as outlined within the NGSS standards, as well as the academic development of Middle School students. Furthermore, our faculty’s profound expectation is that any team member has a significant desire to cultivate students as upstanding global citizens who understand and practice inquiry, critical thinking, moral responsibility, social justice, and service. A Master’s degree is preferred but not essential.
