St. Martin’s Episcopal School seeks a culturally competent and responsive faculty member to teach Elementary School for the 2021-2022 academic school year. This position may teach any grade 1st – 5th, depending on what is needed. The lead teacher will work closely with an Elementary School Teaching Assistant.
Strong preference is for a lively educator who has obtained a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and/or has significant teaching experience with elementary-age students. The ideal candidate will have a genuine ability to “connect” with students and be comfortable incorporating the use of various technologies to support student learning. Desire to plan and work collaboratively on a team is essential. Faculty must be willing to actively participate in committees and school-life outside the classroom. Interest in coaching and/or advising clubs is a plus.
