San Antonio Academy of Texas is seeking two (2) creative and experienced full-time teachers to join our Middle School Faculty to teach high school level Spanish I and our Lower School Faculty beginning in the 2021-2022 school year.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
An outstanding grasp of both content and pedagogy of teaching world languages.
A deep knowledge of oral and written communication in the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.
Ability to design challenging, hands-on, experiential, interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Comfortable working with a wide range of academic capabilities.
Skilled in planning and delivering lessons for both a regular and accelerated curriculum.
Familiarity with World Readiness Standards for Learning Languages.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding student progress.
Support the efforts of vertical team planning and curriculum alignment.
Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional growth. Able to meaningfully receive, reflect on, and apply feedback to one's professional growth.
Fulfill other duties as assigned, such as lunch, recess, and carpool.
Attend all required meetings which may occur outside of the school day.
