St. Edmund’s Academy Summer 2021 St. Edmund’s Academy, Pittsburgh, PA, is announcing the search for its Manager of Admissions whose position will begin in Summer of 2021. The Manager of Admissions reports to the Director of Admissions and supports all activities in the Admissions and Enrollment process. The Manager of Admissions manages the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office and works collaboratively with all constituents to support the school’s mission and Core Values.
Responsibilities for the Manager of Admissions
Timely, thoughtful, and individualized communication with prospective families as they navigate the Admissions process.
Detailed management of applicant records and assessments.
Collaboration in reviewing, assessing, and ultimately determining applicant admissions decisions, serving as a key partner in administrative meetings with school leadership.
Oversee the Student Ambassador program, managing student leaders who serve as panelists, tour guides, and student hosts.
Serve enthusiastically as a member of the Admission, Financial Aid, and Enrollment Committee along with other key school stakeholders.
Collaborate with Assistant Director of Marketing to market the SEA experience, as well as produce, edit, and distribute materials for prospective families. Guided by research and data, identify new markets and growth opportunities.
Oversee Admissions and other community-building events and activities, including, but not limited to, New Family Reception, Summer New Student Playdates, and Welcome Back Community Picnic.
Track admissions-related data, producing monthly statistics on admissions activity, funnel statistics, and enrollment numbers. Communicate clearly to school leadership and Board of Trustees.

BA/BS undergraduate degree required.
At least 4 years of professional experience, preferably in Admissions work or within an institute of Higher Education or Independent School.
Familiarity with Blackbaud or comparable database or CMS is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with and inspire confidence from multiple constituencies—prospective families and colleagues—via both written and in-person channels.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with others. Desired Qualifications
