Latin School of Chicago seeks a part-time Visual Arts faculty member in the Upper School to begin in Fall 2021.
This is a part-time position with benefits.
Seeking experienced High School Art Teacher with expertise in teaching:
Photography 1 (phone-based with apps)
Photography 2 (DSLR Lightroom and Photoshop)
Visual Art Foundations.
Additional required skills include:
Ability to work with Adobe Creative Suite
Desired skills include:
Five years high school teaching experience
Ideal candidate will be a collaborative colleague and serve as a team teacher in our required Ninth Grade Visual Arts Course.
This Visual Arts faculty member will be expected to teach:
Q2 Photography 2
Yearlong Global Studies Visual Arts (GSVA)
Visiting the sections of other GSVA teachers to learn this curriculum
2 sections usually create a load of 1
