Assistant Superintendent, Education Services. Under the general direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent, Education Services provides leadership in the development, coordination, and evaluation of the District’s educational and pupil personnel services programs, including 21st Century Teaching and Learning, Educational Technology, Instruction, Staff Development, Assessment, Accountability and Specialized Programs, Special Education, Early Education and Expanded Learning programs, Grants and Projects, and other related services.
A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of successful administrative and supervisory experience at a site or district level and three years of successful teaching experience in an educational setting. Site principal experience desired. Must possess a valid California Supervisory or Administrative Services Credential.
Additional Salary Information: $1000 stipend for a Doctorate
