Concord Hill is seeking a full-time lead teacher for a Second Grade homeroom class. A lead teacher in Second Grade is responsible for morning meetings and homeroom instruction, including reading and word study, writing workshop, social studies, and math instruction.
Ideal candidates have the desire and disposition to work in a highly collaborative environment. They will work closely with a co-teacher and collaborate regularly with colleagues including the reading, math, technology, and curriculum specialists, the DEI coordinator, special subject teachers, and school administrators. Faculty share teaching methods, materials and assessment techniques in a joint approach to curriculum design, instruction, and pedagogy. The process of building, implementing, evaluating and revising programs is at the core of Concord Hill and is expected of every faculty member.

A minimum of 3-5 years of early childhood/elementary experience and Master’s degree preferred.
