Sacramento Country Day School, a leader in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade independent school education since 1964, seeks a Second Grade Teacher to add to our excellent faculty.
We are seeking a candidate who has the following attributes:
An expert at building a classroom community
Skilled in teaching reading and math (Everyday Math experience is a plus)
Enjoys integrating subjects and developing curriculum
Engages with parents as partners in their children's growth and development
Has a sense of humor, and enjoys collaborating with colleagues
Will meet the needs of a wide range of learners
Able to integrate social emotional learning into the curriculum. Responsive Classroom training is a plus.
Has great communication skills.

At least three years of lead teaching experience
School requirements: Background check, First Aid/CPR trained (school sponsored), negative TB result.
