Midtown International School seeks a full-time elementary teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. MIS' problem-based curriculum encourages students to be curious and solve real world problems. MIS classes have 12 students or less. The ideal candidate for this position would prefer grades K-3 and be comfortable teaching all core subjects.
Candidates with experience and certification in Gifted Education are encouraged to apply.

*Maintains organized, well-planned, and thoroughly researched lesson plans that reach all learners. Clearly plans for and implements projects, problem-based learning opportunities, instructional technology, and incorporates resources from a variety of viewpoints and experts.
*Assesses students with appropriate measures, including performance assessments, process assessments, narratives, and rubrics.
*Maintains a safe, secure, interactive, respectful, and healthy educational environment; follows, establishes, and enforces school standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements.
*Interacts positively with parents, students, other faculty, resource staff, and partners in education while establishing consistent and ongoing communication processes.
