Atlanta Country Club is looking for a strong leader to join their team. The club has a rich history of professional golf having hosted the inaugural Players Championship won by Jack Nicklaus in 1974. In addition, the club hosted the PGA Atlanta Classic from 1967-1996.
The course consists of bentgrass greens, bermuda fairways and rough, and zoysia tee boxes.
The Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and other Assistant Superintendents to train, direct, and supervise the turf-care team and complete tasks deemed necessary by the Golf Course Superintendent.
The Assistant Superintendent will ensure proper course conditioning as described in our turf-care guiding principles.
We have completed master planning for a complete golf course renovation in the near future, so this would be a great opportunity for those looking to build their resume with construction experience.

Must attain a commercial pesticide license within 6 months of employment.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of golf course experience or have completed 2 or more course internships.
Must have completed a 2 or 4 year degree in turf or related field.
