The Lab School seeks a full-time High School upper-level sciences teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. The ideal candidate has an advanced degree and experience teaching chemistry and physics to high school students with learning differences. The ability to effectively utilize direct instruction, guided inquiry, labs and projects, technology, and discussion to convey complex scientific concepts is a sought after attribute. The ability and willingness to teach math courses is a plus. The candidate must hold certification in the content area or Special Education, or be certification-eligible in the District of Columbia.
