Nyack is a K-12 school district comprised of five schools and a student enrollment of approximately 3000 students. We are located in Rockland County, NY, 25 miles north of central Manhattan, just across the Mario Cuomo Bridge.
Upper Nyack Elementary School has an enrollment of 400 K-5 students, an accomplished staff of 37 staff members, and an active supportive parent body. The position requires an experienced instructional leader with strong teaching and administrative background; a demonstrated record of accomplishment working with students from diverse cultures and the ability to promote a 21st century vision of student-centered, problem-based learning that affirms academic success for every student.
We are seeking an innovative school leader that can promote critical and creative thinking and can work collaboratively in a school climate that demands and supports racial equity for all students.
