The Middle School is seeking a full-time Social Studies Teacher to teach 5 sections of U.S. History to 6th grade students. This faculty member will begin August 13 for the 2021-22 school year.
A successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Humanities, or a closely related field (Master’s degree is preferred); a minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably with Middle School students, experience in curriculum development, and demonstrate the capacity to navigate curriculum ranging in grades 6-8th in a variety of social studies topics.
