Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a homeroom teaching position (Grades K - 4) for the 2021-2022 school year. Teaching responsibilities will include both small-group (3-5 students) and whole class (7-9 students) instruction in the areas of language arts (reading, spelling and written language), math, social studies, science and handwriting. In addition, embedded social coaching and executive function support is expected to occur throughout the day.
Excellent communication in both oral and written expression is required.
Experience with technology is required.
Minimum of a degree in special education, elementary education or a related field
Preference will be given to those with at least five years of experience and/or experience in teaching students with learning differences.
