Basic Function: Under the direction of the District Superintendent, serves as administrator of the Office of Human Resources. The Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources is responsible for directing, supervising, and managing all activities in the Office of Human Resources for both certificated and classified personnel. The Assistant Superintendent serves as the District’s chief negotiator in all employee relations and has major responsibility for the district labor contract management.
Experience of five (5) years in a responsible public education administrative, coordinating or supervisory position, preferably involved with the administration of personnel, labor and employment issues.
Education: Posses an earned Master’s or higher degree from a recognized and accredited college or university in educational administration or a closely related field.
Additional Salary Information: In addition to the base salary, the District pays $2000 for a doctorate degree, a mileage stipend, and offers a comprehensive benefits package to employees and their families, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
