Saints Peter and Paul, the premier Catholic, coed, college preparatory high school serving grades 9-12 on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, has an opening for full-time Math teacher for the upcoming school year. Qualified candidates should be able to teach across the Math disciplines, including Calculus. As we prepare to open our new school campus in 2021, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator to become part of the Sabre community.
Teach five (5) sections of Math with an average class size of 14.
Work to ensure academic excellence by fully knowing students and adapting curricula to meet their needs
Prepare students for the challenges and rigor of higher education
Collaborate in the design and implementation of an integrated curriculum
Collaborate with peers and specialists to engage students in deep, interdisciplinary project work.
Provide active mentoring and student life leadership
Foster the academic, social and spiritual mission of Saints Peter & Paul High School to empower young people in mind, body, and spirit.
Engage in ongoing communication with parents/guardians
Candidates should be able to demonstrate flexibility, creativity, enthusiasm, professionalism, and an understanding of the unique needs of young people.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Demonstrated mastery of content knowledge and the ability to drive student growth.
Commitment to the whole-person development of young people
Prior teaching or professional experience
