Bishop O'Connell High School is seeking a religion teacher for the 2021 - 2022 school year. All courses follow the U.S. bishops’ doctrinal framework for high school catechists, with topics including scripture, ecclesiology, sacraments and morality. The candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Candidates should have a degree or strong academic background in theology. Teaching experience and/or education coursework is preferred.
Bishop O'Connell High School is also seeking a long-term substitute in religion for the start of the 2021 - 2022 school year. This position is expected to run from August through October of 2021. For candidates who desire a full year commitment, the long-term substitute position could be combined with a permanent building substitute position for the remainder of the school year.
