The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, an independent K-12 boys’ school, seeks an energetic and professional part-time Lower School teacher beginning in August 2021. The successful applicant will primarily teach math to lower school grade levels while also assuming other responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and at least three years of experience teaching in an elementary school. The candidate must be able to work well with all members of each grade level team and demonstrate sound written and oral abilities as parent communication is a vital component of the role. An interest in working with boys, an appreciation for single-sex education, and a willingness to be involved in all facets of school life will be valued.
