The faculty of the Department of Teacher Education and Leadership Studies is seeking candidates to fill a full time 9-month Lecturer position with opportunities for summer teaching with additional compensation. We seek an individual with broad interests in the field of educational administration and leadership. Candidates must be able to teach online masters and doctoral level courses in building- and/or district-level administration and work with dissertation students. Candidates will provide student support, serve on dissertation committees, and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development. Candidates planning on working remotely are eligible to apply.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

An earned doctorate in educational administration with at least 3 years of professional experience in building and/or district-level leadership in schools in the United States. A documented record of teaching online graduate courses in educational administration and a record of research in educational administration or leadership suitable for graduate faculty status.
Knowledge of and ability to teach education law, special education law, and/or education policy. Experience leading diverse schools and ability to teach culturally-responsive leadership skills.
