The Project & Policy Analyst position assists in furthering the strategic objectives of the school by providing administrative support, special projects support, and program/policy analysis for the Dean of the School of Nursing (SON) and fully support Dean Gilliss with various task forces and committee work. The individual interacts with campus and school leadership and must be tactful, gracious, and overtly helpful, treating all interactions confidentially.
Applies professional concepts to conduct analytical studies or projects of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, research and procedural issues. Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations.
Responsibilities may also include managing complex calendaring, selecting, reserving and preparing appropriate meeting venues, and providing administrative support to a variety of committees and task forces. Prepares written communications and materials, collects and maintains supporting materials and documentation, and staffs and supports committees convened by the Dean. This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy.
